What Chatham does to a window
Chatham is the saltiest glass on the lower Cape. Shore Road, Morris Island, Stage Harbor, Hardings Beach and the homes along Chatham Harbor take spray straight off the Atlantic on every east wind and dry a white film within a week of a cleaning, and a nor'easter pushes it across the whole town to Oyster Pond and Pleasant Bay. North Chatham, Eastward Ho and the Pleasant Bay shore take a steady haze off the bay, and the fog that sits on Chatham through June and July keeps the salt wet and sticky for weeks. Harwich Port is the same story with harbors instead of ocean. Can you remove hard water spots from sprinklers?
